It all started with a Winnie the Pooh journal.
Just before her 8th birthday, Michel received her first journal, marking the beginning of her journey into self-expression, acceptance, and vulnerability. Journaling quickly became a natural part of her life, eventually evolving into poetry. Michel debuted her poetry in graduate school and refined her skills in 2017. She self-published her inaugural book, "STOP, LOVE, and LISTEN," in 2018, featuring poems and journal entries emphasizing the importance of presence, intuition, and self-love. Her follow-up book, "Lost & Found," was released in 2021 through iiPublishing, exploring the themes of self-discovery, heartbreak, insecurity, and self-doubt. Michel's contributions are also featured in five anthologies. The books are available for purchase below.

ROSES: Love Anthology
ROSES is an anthology brimming with love and the quintessence of romance. The contributing poets were students at Poetix University's writing workshop, also named ROSES, where they were encouraged to channel their affection for someone into poetic form. This book's publication celebrates the spirit of romance and love universally.
Dear Sister Friend
The Dear Sister Friend anthology presented by the She Will Speak Series is the second anthology in our series which we dedicate to encouraging our Sister Friends and forming community through our art.
