The Artist:

Michel, born in NYC and raised in the small town of Valley Cottage in Rockland County, NY, was brought up in a close-knit family on a serene dead-end street in a suburban area. Education was always a priority, and Michel thrived academically, earning her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology in 2011 and her Master of Science in Mental Health Counseling at the age of 23. Despite her academic success, Michel found it challenging to initiate and maintain friendships and to express herself verbally in real-time. She turned to the arts—dance, poetry, journaling, and arts & crafts—as her means of self-expression. Michel deeply values genuine expression and believes that integrating the arts into one's life can facilitate this.
