Michel's passion for dance ignited at a tender age during her family's New Year’s Eve celebrations. As the music filled the room, young Michel, usually shy and curious, found herself irresistibly drawn to the rhythm, swaying and stepping in sync with the beats. Her mother took one look and exclaimed, "Michel can dance!"
From then on, Michel was hooked. She would spend hours emulating the dance moves from music videos, mastering them to perfection. But it was choreography that truly captured her heart. She became the family's unofficial choreographer, teaching her sisters and cousins routines to perform at holiday gatherings.
Michel's dance journey continued, and by the age of 11, she was attending formal dance classes. Hip hop was her favorite, but she also thrived in salsa, modern, and African dance styles. Her dedication led her to become a certified Zumba Instructor in 2020. Now, Michel offers virtual Zumba classes, available by appointment. If you're interested, please schedule a session below!
